If a piano still plays, we’ll try to route it to donation rather than scrap it, since a working instrument is worth saving. Most old pianos that come out are past saving. For those, the cast-iron plate and metal strings are recycled and the wood is disposed of properly. Either way, you don’t deal with it.

Yes. Stairs are the normal challenge with pianos. We strap it, control the descent, and take it slow. That’s what the crew and the gear are for.
Q2Do you move grands and baby grands?+
Yes. For a grand, we remove the legs and pedal lyre and move it on its side on a piano board, the proper way to handle one.
Q3Are you moving it to keep, or removing it for good?+
This service is removal and disposal. If you want a piano relocated and kept, tell us and we’ll talk through whether that’s a fit.
Q4Will you protect my floors and walls?+
Yes. Padding, floor runners, and careful hands. We’re insured, though our reviews will tell you the careful approach is why we rarely need it.

The type of piano and the path out. A console on the ground floor is one price. A grand from a second-floor walk-up with a tight turn is more. Send a photo of the piano and the route out and we’ll price it.
