Privacy policy
Last updated on 07/24/26
This Privacy Policy explains what information GFR Specialized Junk Removal Services Inc (“GFR,” “we,” “us”) collects through gfrjunk.com and when you contact us for service, how we use it, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect what we need to quote and complete your job, we use standard analytics to understand how the site is used, and we don’t sell your information.
1. Information You Give Us
When you request a quote, book a service, call, text, or email us, we may collect: your name, phone number, email address, service address, details about the items you want removed, your preferred date and time, and photos you choose to upload or send for quoting purposes.
We use this information to prepare your estimate, schedule and perform your service, communicate with you about it, process payment, and keep records of completed work. Photos submitted for quoting are used to prepare your estimate; we only use job photos in our marketing with your separate, direct permission.
2. Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, we use analytics and measurement tools that collect information automatically when you visit, through cookies and similar technologies. This includes pages visited, time on site, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, how you arrived at our site (for example, from a search engine or an ad), and interactions such as button clicks and form submissions.
The tools we use include:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — website traffic and usage statistics, in aggregate.
- Google Tag Manager — manages the measurement tags above; it does not itself collect personal information.
- Google Search Console — aggregated search performance data from Google; contains no personal visitor information.
- Google Maps — embedded maps on our site are served by Google and subject to Google’s own privacy practices.
- Advertising measurement — if you reach us through an ad (such as Google Ads), conversion tracking may record that a visit or contact resulted from that ad.
This data is used to understand how people find and use our site, improve our pages, and measure our advertising — not to identify you personally. Google’s handling of data collected through these services is described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
3. Cookies and Your Choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them; the site will still work, though some measurement won’t function. You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: service providers who help us operate (such as our website host, form and scheduling tools, payment processor, and messaging platform), strictly to provide those services; and authorities when required by law. Analytics data is shared with Google as described in Section 2.
5. SMS/Text Messaging Data
Phone numbers collected for SMS consent and text messaging opt-in data will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used solely to communicate with you about your quote and your service, and may be processed by vendors acting on our behalf (such as our messaging platform provider) strictly for that purpose. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for assistance. Full SMS program terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
6. Data Retention
We keep quote and job records (including submitted photos) as long as needed for business, tax, insurance, and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the tools described above.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we’re legally required to keep). To make a request, call (508) 474-5026 or email us — we’ll respond promptly and won’t treat you differently for asking.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure hosting and limiting access to people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take protecting your information seriously.
9. Children
Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
